If you are visiting London, this is the only GPS enabled map you will need to carry with you. This A-Z London Tourist Map covers a small section of Central London where most places of interest are located. Hotels, tourist attractions, theatres, museums, important buildings, train stations, underground stations, embassies, consulates and police stations are all marked and named on this map. The map data is supplied by Geographers’ A-Z map Co Ltd which is the most popular map data provider in the UK. The map is easy to understand and the app is very enjoyable to use.

Downloading takes 1-5 minutes depending on your Wi-Fi connection speed. This universal app will work on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Once it is downloaded, the map will be stored on your device locally and you will not need 3G or GPRS connection to use it; this means no roaming charge will apply. The map will start up instantly and will work anywhere. It will be useful when you are out and about; it can track your position while walking and driving.

This software was originally designed for London Taxi Drivers. It has a very practical search facility and is full of information. It has all the streets, postcodes and many Points of interests within the map coverage area. POI data includes bars, pubs, clubs, restaurants, embassies and consulates, tourist attractions, underground (subway) stations, main train stations, museums, theatres, concert halls, hospitals, police stations, major government departments and many more categories. Just start typing the full name of the desired place under POI.
